Sullivan Road Farms CSA Membership Program
What Is a CSA?
And How Does Ours Work at Sullivan Road Farms?
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture—a time-tested model that connects farmers directly with the community. Originally developed in 1960s Japan, CSA programs allow you, the subscriber, to purchase a “share” of the farm’s harvest at the beginning of the season and enjoy the bounty as it’s grown.
At Sullivan Road Farms, our CSA is flexible, modernized, and unlike anything else in the area.
How It Works
You don’t need to be a VIP Member to join our CSA—but membership adds perks! Here’s how it works for everyone:
- Subscribers purchase Spring/Summer CSA Shares in advance.
- Each week, you shop in our Farm Store using a points-based system, selecting whatever produce suits your needs.
- Points are simply the “unit prices” of each item. Use your points across the season for anything in the CSA collection—produce, local eggs, mushrooms, and regional specialties.
