š Our Story ā Wild Honey Bee Farm šÆ
Rooted in family. Fueled by bees. Buzzing with purpose.
At Wild Honey Bee Farm, our journey began with Grandpa Delbertāborn in 1948 in Dodgeville, Wisconsin, and full of dreams. In 1981, he and Grandma Barbara moved to Umatilla, Florida, with one goal: to build a beekeeping business from the ground up. And they did.
Ā
I grew up surrounded by bees, honeycombs, and the smell of wax melting in the kitchen. As a kid, I had no clue those days would shape my future. When we lost Grandpa suddenly during my middle school years, the hives went silentābut the seed had been planted.
Ā
Years later, at 18, I took a job at the same honey-packing company that once bought Grandpaās honey. Thatās when it clicked: it was time to bring the family farm back to life. With Grandmaās support (and her treasure trove of Grandpaās old equipment), I bought a few hives and got to work. Local beekeepers who remembered Grandpa helped guide meāand step by step, the dream came alive again.
Ā
My dad, James, joined me after retiring from the military. We dove into migratory pollination, traveling across states to pollinate crops. But eventually, I knew I wanted to be home with my familyāand with the bees.
Ā
Back in Umatilla, I teamed up with Scott Campbell, a friend from church who quickly became a natural in the bee yard. Now we run the farm together, keeping things simple and honestājust like Grandpa wouldāve wanted.
Ā
We produce raw, unfiltered honey, beeswax products, and bees for sale. Weāre proud to carry on this legacyārooted in hard work, family, and a whole lot of buzzing.
Ā
š From our hives to your homeāthanks for supporting Wild Honey Bee Farm.
